Lisa Peavler, RN

Co-Founder and Operator

Lisa became a certified R.N. in 1983 at the Washburn School of Nursing. Born and raised in Everest, Kansas, she has spent most of her life in Topeka, working on post-op surgical floors at Stormont Vail Hospital. She later transitioned to home health care and long-term care, serving as Director of Nursing at two prominent nursing homes. When her dad developed dementia, Lisa cared for him at home until he needed professional care at a local Home Plus, where he lived until his passing.

Lisa’s expertise in elder care, especially dementia, inspired her to co-found Providence Homes Plus in 2020. Her mission is to create a compassionate and personalized home for the elderly, where she would want her own family to stay.

In her free time, Lisa enjoys watching baseball, walking, and gardening with her husband.
